Smart Campus Security

Campus Solution

From cameras and recorders to central management software, LILIN's full digital IP architecture protects your campus around the clock with low installation and maintenance costs.

Key Requirements of Campus Security

Campuses are open environments with heavy foot traffic. Cameras face vandalism risks and poor lighting at night, while buildings spread across multiple sites call for a centralized, easy-to-maintain video system.

High-Resolution Video

4K / 5MP video captures every detail in hallways, playgrounds, and entrances, providing reliable evidence for incident review.

Vandal Resistance

Cameras in classrooms and corridors are easy targets. Vandal-resistant housings with tamper detection alarms provide extra protection.

Night Surveillance

Open campus areas lack lighting at night. IR cameras paired with IR illuminators keep the campus clearly visible in complete darkness.

A Complete Campus Solution from Network to Management

LILIN integrates cameras, recorders, PoE networking, and video management software to cover every corner of the campus at minimal deployment cost.

Full digital IP video architecture on campus

Full Digital IP over Existing Campus Networks

Many schools already have Ethernet networks in place. LILIN's full digital IP video system utilizes the existing infrastructure to stream high-resolution video to embedded NVRs for centralized recording. The non-PC embedded design is stable and eco-friendly, with 4K HDMI output and large storage capacity for long-term retention.

Centralized PoE Power with Vandal-Resistant Cameras

LILIN PoE switches provide centralized power management, delivering data and power over a single cable. Vandal-resistant IR cameras feature built-in intelligent video surveillance (IVS) with tamper, motion, and audio detection, instantly notifying the NVR with alarm snapshots. Power status can be checked directly from the switch's LED indicators without visiting each camera site, greatly reducing cabling, installation, and maintenance costs compared to analog systems.

PoE Power Budget Engineering Table

Core campus deployment planning: PS3188C switch port capacity and PoE power requirements for each camera model.

Equipment Model Power Description
P6R6552E2 PoE 8.2W 5MP AI Vandal-Resistant IR Dome Camera
IM15208 AC 74W 200M IR Illuminator (requires independent power supply)
PS3188C Network Switch
PS3188C 250W PoE Budget 16-Port PoE+ Switch, core of single-cable deployment
PS3188C PoE Load Estimate (Full 16-channel P6R6552E2 Cameras) 131.2W / 250W (52.5%)

Campus Deployment Planning: The PS3188C provides 16 PoE+ ports with a 250W total power budget. Fully populating all 16 ports with P6R6552E2 cameras (8.2W each) consumes approx. 131.2W (~52.5% load capacity), ensuring high system stability and headroom. For a 30-camera deployment across campus, installing 2 PS3188C switches is recommended. The IM15208 IR illuminator requires independent AC 110–240V power supply and is not powered by the PoE switch. Actual configuration should be assessed by site engineers based on campus scale and cabling infrastructure.
