The VS212 is an H.264 video encoder supporting both H.264 and Motion JPEG, delivering up to 30 fps at 960H or 25 fps at D1 resolution. Two-way audio with G.711 and PCM is built in, and network throughput ranges from 128 Kbps to 3 Mbps. RTP/HTTP, RTP/TCP, RTP/UDP and Multicast streaming are supported, with motion detection uploading images to FTP or email; the network port runs 10/100 Mbps over RJ-45, the control interface uses RS-485 supporting Pelco D/P, and ONVIF Profile S and LILIN HTTP API are integrated. The 136 by 130 by 44 mm chassis weighs 380 g, runs on DC12V ±10% at 4.5 W, operates from 0°C to 50°C, and is viewable from iPhone, iPad and Android.
